QuickLink: WritersFunkFics

The WritersFunk is a system where the reviewer/contact requests a one-shot, drabble, or continuation of a an already submitted and completed request.  After recieving this submission, the author (Tsunami) will attempt to write a fic that fulfills it in as quickly a manner as she can.

Guidelines are below.

Leave a review for any story of hers on ff.net, comment on any lj entry, or email her at Mistress_Tsunami@yahoo.com with the following info:

1. series
2. pairing (or no pairing)
3. request
4. if you want, a word count, either min or max, but please keep in mind these are one-shots/drabbles.

Please also note if there is anything you do NOT want included.  For example, if you request a lemon, but are adverse to any common type of lemon, please let me know.  I'll try not to get too wild without contacting you, and you can always request a replacement fic.

You may opt to choose a different series, but I will not guarantee that it will happen, as I may or may not have seen it. I have now realized that I've seen/read a lot not listed, but haven't had the chance to add them. Go ahead and ask - I'll likely give it my best shot, whether I've seen it or not.

Please note that you can opt to include a lemon, but I am not the best with writing these. Just include it in the ‘request’ option. If there is a problem with a request, I will let you know.

Funk Updates:

The Peak: I've decided that I'm going to cap the WritersFunk. After request #100, I will no longer be listing the requests on my lj. The requests after that will go into a general pool, which will be dealt with after I have completed the first 100. Why am I doing this? Simple: I'm too far behind on requests. I can't keep up with them.

After I've completed request #100, the kitty will be emptied, and your name will pop up on a new list. Since this is a 'pool' of requests and not a 'list', I won't know which was first and which was last. Any requests made after the pool will be a regular list, the way it's set up now.

Please note that this is only so I don't get discouraged, and see that I have over 50 requests to fill and so on and so on. All requests will be fulfilled, and I actually want you to continue, I'm just having trouble keeping up. If anyone wants to take up this task for me, I'd be more than happy to set up a system with you, just drop me a line.

Time Tracker: Wondering when your request will show up? Go to my lj and find your name, and then find the last fic that I've completed. Find the number of uncompleted fics between yours and the last I've done. That's approximately the number of days it will take to come out (altough occasionally I will complete two a day, my average has been one).

Endless Funk?: I've been entertaining the notion of keeping the WritersFunk open even after the 'Funk' part of it ends. I always take requests, and this seems like a good way to keep my writing up and improving. Just realize that the longer the 'Master List' is, the longer it will take for a request to be answered.

The Master Has Arrived: On my livejournal account I've posted the WritersFunk Master List of all requests and their status. If a fic is marked complete, then look for its number down below. If a fic is not marked complete, then you can see how long it will take to come out.

New and Improved: The Master List now, in addition to a complete mark, has a link to the appropriate ff (dot) net page, as well as the title of the fic.  As the fics move over to the webpage, the links will change.

This Land is My Land: Note that some livejournal entries will be marked as 'friends only'. This is not to discourage you from reading your own fic! Rather, this is because I don't want some of my family members to stumble upon the link and think that I've finally lost it. Best place to read is likely ff (dot) net anyways, as I hardly ever update my lj.

This Land is Your Land: Please remember that I don't know you, and so I don't know what you've read/watched and what you haven't. I've realized recently that I've created one-shots with spoilers WITHOUT asking if the requestor has seen/read that far. If it happens that I fulfill a request with a spoiler and you don't want one, let me know. I'll re-write the request in the same spot - meaning it should pop up in the following two to three days.

The Pony Express: Okay, so I don't have a pony, but I am more than willing to email you when your request is finished if you like. Just please remember that ff (dot) net is funky, and you have to write it name (at) domain (dot) com, or it gets lost.

Wanted: Dead or Alive: A list of people who requested emails, but the email addy was lost due to above noted funkiness. If you know anything about these people, let me know.
